The Government of India has recently signed USD 39.2 million (over Rs 251 crore) loan agreement with the World Bank for the Citizen Centric Service Delivery project in Assam. The project adopts an integrated approach to improve access and accountability and improve access in the delivery of selected public services in Assam. The programme duration is five years and overall cost is around USD 49 million. The rest of the amount needed for this project will come from State Government.
