The Government of Bihar plans to spend Rs 602 crore on the construction of more than seven lakh toilets in the state. The state government plans to build 7,52,863 toilets in the next four years. For every toilet built, the state would provide Rs 8,000 while the Centre will give Rs 4,000. As of now around 38,000 toilets are under construction. In the current financial year itself more than three lakh toilets would be constructed.
