10 Aug 2023 Government approved PLI-II worth Rs 17,000 crore The cabinet approved the second phase of the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for IT hardware with a budgetary outlay of Rs 17,000 crore, more than doubling the incentives in the initial version of the plan aimed at attracting global companies like Dell, HP, Apple and Samsung to manufacture in India.
10 Aug 2023 AWS to invest $12.7 billion in India’s cloud infrastructure Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced to invest Rs 1,05,600 crore into cloud infrastructure in India by 2030 to meet growing customer demand for cloud services in India. This investment is estimated to contribute Rs 1,94,700 crore to India’s total gross domestic product (GDP) by 2030.

PVR Inox is expected to spend cumulatively close to Rs 700 crore in FY24 for adding new screens and retrofitting existing ones with new tech, formats, ambience, among other features.

The campaign has begun with the launching of two EVs on the campus. Airports are significant sources of carbon emissions due to their large energy demands.
