21 Feb 2023 Over three lakh houses under PMAY-Gramin approved in Assam The Assam government has sanctioned over three lakh houses under the flagship Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G). Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister, said that Assam received a target of 3,31,193 units under PMAY-G from the Union Ministry of Rural Development.
21 Feb 2023 BERC approved 600 MW Solar purchases From SECI The Bihar Electricity Regulatory Commission (BERC) has given nod to procurement of 600 MW of solar power from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) in Tranche-VIII by the distribution companies (DISCOMS). BERC has allowed the procurement at a tariff of Rs 2.50/kWh. The trading margin has been kept by the regulator at Rs 0.07 for every kWh.
