Kolkata- based Ganesh Industrial Complex is on an expansion mode and is adding two more industrial parks spread across 500 acre and with an investment of Rs 100 crore.

Logistics infrastructure major NDR Warehousing is planning to invest more than Rs 2,000 crore to develop its portfolio of warehousing and industrial parks over 20 million sq ft in the next 24 months.

In a major step to fuel the development of IT sector in Kerala, the Geo group announced construction of a 12-storied building at the Infopark here, with an investment of Rs 160 crore. The building will have solar-powered energy backup for limiting carbon emissions and have plans to convert it into a completely carbon-neutral establishment in the near future.

The ground-breaking ceremony was recently performed for the Rs. 2,200 crore technical ammonium nitrate project of Smartchem Technologies Ltd being set up at Gopalpur Industrial Park by Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Ltd. STL has signed a sub-lease deed agreement with TSSEZ, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Steel.

The industrial and logistics parks developer plans to add three projects in the National Capital Region and two each in Mumbai and Bengaluru, as the company remains bullish on the warehousing sector. The company is also evaluating space for an electronic cluster in Noida and is not looking to expand its industrial park portfolio in NCR.

ARETE Group will invest Rs. 1,050 crore in developing phase one of Payal Industrial Park at Dahej, Gujarat. The park is spread over 3,500 acres earmarked for large-scale industrial development, logistics parks and utilities, within the Gujarat PCPIR (Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region).
