Kolkata- based Ganesh Industrial Complex is on an expansion mode and is adding two more industrial parks spread across 500 acre and with an investment of Rs 100 crore.

Logistics infrastructure major NDR Warehousing is planning to invest more than Rs 2,000 crore to develop its portfolio of warehousing and industrial parks over 20 million sq ft in the next 24 months.

To promote development in Tamil Nadu, new industrial parks would be built in tier II and III cities and surrounding areas. According to the finance ministry, these industrial parks will be built to attract investments worth Rs 50,000 crore in order to revitalise the state's economy

Horizon Industrial Parks is looking to expand its presence across key southern markets apart from tapping smaller cities. The company plans to invest more than Rs 2,000 crore to build 9 million sq ft of logistics facilities across South India over the next few years.

The State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu (SIPCOT) is in the process of establishing 11 new industrial parks in different parts of the state to generate employment for nearly two lakh people in automobile, chemical engineering and several other sectors. The new industrial parks will come up in around 13,500 acres of land

Private equity major Blackstone Group is set to acquire Embassy Industrial Parks at an enterprise valuation of $700 million (Rs. 5,250 crore) from Warburg Pincus and Embassy Group in the largest ever logistics and warehousing deal in India. It will make Blackstone the country's largest warehousing space landlord, with over 40 million sq ft logistic parks in assets.

The Uttar Pradesh government has identified five spots for the development of industrial parks along the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, the Bundelkhand Expressway and the Purvanchal Expressway that are under construction. The government has also decided to develop land banks along different expressways in the state.

To promote micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) has kept nearly 992.67 acres of vacant plots available for such enterprises across 52 industrial parks in the state. They have been made available at just a click of a button on the TSIIC website using GIS mapping.

The West Bengal government has announced incentives for setting up 100 private industrial parks for the MSME sector. Fourteen industrial parks for various sectors have already come up in the state in the past six years on 1,300 acres of land, and the new ones will be in addition to these.
