Out of 1,990 acres needed for the road, the survey has been completed for 1,000 acres. The road will stretch for 96 km in Khammam district before entering West Godavari district.

A 46-km-long track between New Piduguralla-Savalyapuram, which is part of Nadikudi-Srikalahasti, has got the green signal from the Commissioner, Railway Safety (CRS) to begin operations.

KSP will be set up a cost of Rs. 15,000 crore. The plant with three million tpa production capacity will be completed in three years in Sunnapurallapalli village.
