Adani Ports won the right to develop a dry bulk terminal with a cargo handling capacity of 14.112 mmtpa at Tuna Tekra, Kandla Port in February 2012 under a concession agreement with Kandla Port trust.
May 15, 2014 Development of Dharma Port DPCL is a joint venture of Tata and L&T. DPCL is implementing the Dhamra port development project. The port has sought 745 acre of land to facilitate its second phase expansion. The Government of Odisha has given in-principle nod to allot land. The expansion project includes increasing its berth strength from 2 to 13 and upgrade cargo handling capacity four-fold from 25 to 100 MTPA in 5 years.
