Honeywell has successfully implemented phase one of the Bangalore Safe City project, which aims to secure a safe, efficient and empowering environment for women and girls through smart and connected safety and security technology.

American multinational Honeywell has bagged a Rs. 496 crore contract from the Bengaluru City Police to implement a project that aims to make Indias tech capital a safer place for women. The Bangalore Safe City project will involve installation and operation of cameras across the city, and building a command centre for the citys Police.

The company has received a LOA for the supply of telecommunication systems for Maha Metro’s Pune Metro project.
