NICDIT has given its approval for developing the Kochi Global Industrial Finance and Trade (GIFT) City as an Early Bird Project under Kochi Bangalore Industrial Corridor. The GIFT City will come up in 220 hectares of land in Aluva.

DMICDC is developing the integrated township in Greater Noida. Shapoorji Pallonji is the contractor for the project. The project is under construction and bids are floated to hire an information communication technology consultant.

Infrastructure work worth Rs 3,000 crore is coming up at Dholera Special Investment Region. The project includes wastewater treatment, water drainage and sewage treatment along with other infrastructure works. So far, the contracts worth Rs 2,800 crore have already been given. The basic infrastructure will be ready by September 2019.

Rising investments, rapidly evolving regulatory policies, mega infrastructure projects, and several other developments in recent times have driven the Indian logistics market to a global extent.

Plans to undertake the development of Freight Village, an integrated Multi Modal Logistics Hub (IMLH), Nangal Chaudhary, Haryana on 886.78 acre of land to be implemented by the project Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) in two phases. CCEA has recently approved the project and gave financial sanction of Rs. 1029.49 crore for development of Phase I and in principle approval for development of Phase II of the project. Expenditure on Phase I comprises cost of entire land at Rs. 266 crore including cost of the land to be used for development of Phase II. Bidding for trunk infrastructure development by SPV will be on EPC basis.

As India moves towards building and sprucing up its infrastructure like never before. The Government is identifying critical gaps in our infrastructure and trying to fill those gaps at the earliest so as to ensure faster connectivity between various geographies.

The city of Dholera is being developed as a Smart City under the Smart Cities Mission. Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) once fully developed would be one of the biggest planned urban developments in India with immense opportunities for doing business and living a prosperous and healthy life

The nodal agency for Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor has already initiated the process for Master Planning of three identified Nodes, namely, Ponneri (Tamil Nadu), Krishnapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) & Tumkur (Karnataka).

Government of Kerala has proposed to build Kochi-Palakkad Hi-tech Industrial Corridor and link it with the Chennai Bengaluru Industrial Corridor. The plan will be appraised by NCDIT.
