Plans are afoot to convert the age-old film centre located in Prayagraj’s Civil Lines area into a museum. The proposed museum will showcase the rich legacy of the film history of North India. An amount of around Rs 4 crore will be spent on the project.

In coming years, as many as 17 railway stations of the North Central Railway (NCR) would not just resemble airports but also offer airport-like facilities to passengers. Uttar Pradesh’s first extradosed six-lane bridge is being constructed over the Ganga river in Prayagraj district. The bridge, stretching from Malak Harhar to Stanley Road (near Beli Hospital), is being constructed by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. The work on this Rs. 1,948.25 crore project is expected to be completed by February 2024.

The Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission has approved the part commissioning (14 MW) of a 20 MW solar project. It said that separate wheeling and banking agreements should be signed for each part of the capacity of 14 MW, 4 MW, and 2 MW. AMP Solar Green Power had filed a petition seeking approval for part commissioning of the 20 MW solar project at Payagpur in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh.

Plans to assign the construction of new six-lane bridge including its approaches across River Ganga on NH-96 (New NH-330) at Phaphamau, Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. Completion is targeted in 3 years.

Adani Enterprises and Organica bagged project in Prayagraj City under the National Mission for Clean Ganga’s (NMCG) Hybrid Annuity Model PPP project. This project encompasses the construction of three greenfield wastewater treatment facilities with capacities of 42 MLD, 16 MLD and 14 MLD.
