Hitachi Energy India has won an order worth about Rs 160 crore from MP Power Transmission Package-II to modernise the Madhya Pradesh (MP) power grid. The project involves strengthening the transmission system in the rural area of Madhya Pradesh and increasing the capacity and improving the reliability of the power infrastructure in the region.

The state had received a sanction of Rs 12,123 crore from Ministry of road transport and highways for annual plan 2022-23 to improve the national highway infrastructure being maintained by state roads and buildings (R&B) department.
