Mar 20, 2020 Second International airport in Goa. The Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has granted clearance for the proposed second international airport in Goa. The new airport is to cost around Rs. 3,300 crore. By the end of the fourth phase in 2045, the airport is scheduled to have a capacity of 13.1 million passengers.
Nov 01, 2018 Mopa airport project The construction of the Mopa airport had started and the state government has appointed Engineers India Ltd (EIL) to monitor the construction. Recently the Government of India has given security clearance to the involvement of Megawide Construction Corporation, one of Philippines’s leading engineering and infrastructure developers, and Dubai Consultants. The first phase is likely to complete by 2020.

Jul 15, 2017 Greenfield airport at Mopa The company has got the mandate to develop & operate the Greenfield airport at Mopa in North Goa. The foundation stone for the project was laid in November, 2016. As of now the company has successfully executed debt facility agreement with Axis Bank for Rs 1330 crore. The on ground construction activity is likely to start after monsoon. The works completion is targeted in 3 years.
