Loans amounting to Rs 15,626 crore have been sanctioned under Agriculture Infrastructure Fund to create 21,380 infrastructure units at an aggregate investment of more than Rs 32,000 crore all over the country till this year.

The company said its charging initiatives are in line with the government's National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP), which aims to develop EV charging infrastructure using the latest technological platform along with easy access to charging points.

According to an official the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurate various developmental projects related to irrigation, and drinking water besides a National Highway development project.

During a recent visit to Karnataka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched several construction and infrastructure projects worth a total of Rs 6,000 crore. Included in these projects is the laying of the foundation stone for a 65.5 km section of NH-150C, a 6-lane greenfield road project, which is part of the Surat-Chennai Expressway. The project will be built at an investment of Rs 2,000 crore.

Bharti Airtel Group will be investing Rs 2,000 crore for setting up a large hyperscale data centre here. The company, through its data centre arm, Nxtra Data Centres, will invest the amount as capital investment for the infrastructure which will further attract investments from their customers, it said. The facility will be a hyperscale data centre with a capacity of 60 megawatts (MW) of IT load for the first phase.

The National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development the newest development finance institution (DFI) to start lending last month, expects to advance Rs 15,000 crore to infrastructure projects this quarter.

The Indian government and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed loan agreements totalling $1.22 billion for developing infrastructure in various Indian states. The agreements would cover projects for improving the power sector and highways in the north-eastern states.
