In a first, Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (TNERC) has granted permission for the Dindigul-based Dollar Industries to set up four Mega Watt hour (MWhr) Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL) have entered into an agreement to enhance Delhi’s power distribution. ADB will subscribe to non-convertible debentures for Rs 1.5 billion for grid enhancements, and a $2 million grant to partially finance the purchase and integration of a pilot battery energy storage system (BESS).

Plans to set up 100 KWp solar photovoltaic roof top power plant with battery energy storage system, installation of energy efficient equipments and smart mini grid at the residence of Honorable CM, Bihar, Patna residential office, Janta Durbar and campus.
