Bengaluru-based Prestige Group plans to again rebuild its mall portfolio with eight new ones in the next four years. Prestige group plans to expand its current retail portfolio from 2 million sq ft across four malls to 9 million sq ft across 12 malls in four years.

Prestige Group has set its sights on the country’s biggest and most expensive property market with plans to invest over Rs 7,500 crore to develop properties spread over a total 16 million sq ft over the next 4-5 years.

The realty firm and its co-working operator Awfis have expanded their partnership and will set up six more centres, comprising 3 lakh sq ft, across major cities with an investment of about Rs. 70 crore to meet the rising demand for flexible workspace. The company is setting up centres in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune.

The real estate developer plans to invest more than Rs. 3,500 crore to develop around 7 million sq ft of commercial real estate in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and Turf View at Mahalakshmi in South Mumbai. The new commercial development, with 63 storeys, will be the tallest office property in the country.

Prestige Lake Ridge is coming up at Uttarahalli, Bangalore spread across 16 acre of land, comprising 12 towers of stlit+15 floors having 1, 2 & 3 BHK apartments. The amenities include fire fighting systems, badminton court, jogging track, swimming pool, table tennis, earthquake resistant, amphitheatre, community hall, party lawn, wi-fi connectivity, landscape garden, etc. The completion is targeted by June 2019.
