Sep 05, 2020 2,000 electric buses in Delhi by end-2021: Govt Delhi plans to have 2,000 electric public transport buses by the end of 2021, and owners of electric two-wheelers and cars will be able to charge their vehicles at the existing fuel stations. The state government expects to get subsidies from the Central government’s FAME II scheme for 700 more electric buses.
Aug 17, 2018 Beneli ties up with Mahavir group to launch bikes in India Italian premium two-wheeler maker Benelli has decided to enter the smaller bike (135-200 cc) segment in India after 2019. Mahavir Group will partner Benelli in this venture. As part of the tie-up the Mahavir Group is setting up an assembly plant in Hyderabad wherein the Benelli bikes will be assembled for distribution in India.
