Plans to set up imported coal based 4000 MW super thermal power project at Pudimadaka near Visakhapatnam.

The company board has approved setting up 3x660 MW North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project in Jharkhand. In February 2014 the Cabinet Committee on Investment (CCI) has cleared this proposal. This project will come up in the vicinity of Tandwa town.

Plans establishment of Captive Coal Jetty with unloading facilities and Pipe Conveyor for 2x660 MW Udangudi Super Critical Thermal Power Project under single EPC contract, at Udangudi.

Bagged a prestigious EPC contract from NTPC of 1,980 MW North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project (STPP). The scope of work involves design, engineering, manufacture, supply, construction, erection, testing & commissioning for the EPC Package comprising 3 units of 660 MW supercritical sets.

The Company's subsidiary-Elecon EPC Projects Ltd, has got an order from NTPC Ltd for ex-works (India) supply for coal handling plant package of Gadarwara Super Thermal Power Project, Stage - I (2x800 MW).

Bagged contract from NTPC Ltd of a township package for Kudgi Super Thermal Power Project, Stage-I (3x800 MW) located in Bijapur District. The work is likely to start in a month and completion is targeted in 24 months.

Setting up 2520 MW Anuppur Thermal Power Project in Anuppur district. This project is executed in two phases. The phase-I includes 1200 MW (2x600 MW). The phase-II includes 1320 MW (2x660 MW) and is awaiting coal linkage.

Bagged an order from BHEL for 2x500 MW Neyveli New Thermal Power Project (NNTPP).

The company is implementing contract from NTPC for construction of ash dyke package for Sipat Super Thermal Power Project.
