Dec 20, 2021 HCL, Applied Materials and others to invest Rs 5,000 crore in Karnataka HCL Technologies, Applied Materials, Rakon India and Chint have evinced interest in investing a total of Rs. 5,000 crore in Karnataka. Tech firm HCL already has a significant presence in Bengaluru. US-based Applied Materials Inc is involved in semiconductor chips and solar products,Rakon is an electronics manufacturer and Chint Electric makes isolator switches.
