The proposed ‘Textiles Park’ of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd in Bhadrak will be functional in 2023-24. The 900-tonne per day textile park is to be set with an investment of around Rs. 1,971 crore. It will create huge investment opportunities, particularly in utilisation of plastic products.

A textile-related industry will be established in Jangaon, Telangana soon. The state government has promised to set up a handloom related project in Jangaon, where there are many handloom workers. The Kakatiya Mega Textile Park is to be set up in Parkal.

To attract investment and industries moving out of China, the Punjab government hopes to finish land acquisition and transfer process by June-end for developing four mega industrial parks across the state - a textile park, an integrated manufacturing cluster, an industrial township with focus on green industries, and a pharma park.
