In the e-launching program organized by Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), the chief minister allotted plots to 127 MSME units in Tankara's Chhatar-Mitana through computerized draw from his residence at Gandhinagar. He also inaugurated two CETP plants of 40 MLD for the treatment and disposal of polluted wastewater.

Nearly 88,000 MSME units in Gujarat have got clearance of loans in a fortnight from nationalised banks, amounting to Rs. 5373 crore. Of these, the banks have already distributed Rs. 2428 crore worth of loans to approximately 31,000 MSME units.
