The Union government has given in-principle sanction (stage-one forest clearance) for the diversion of forest land for the construction of twin tunnel with four-lane approach roads via Anakkampoyil, Kalladi and Meppadi connecting Kozhikode and Wayanad.

The state government has decided to implement Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) with an investment of around 11,000 crore with the support of the Union government. The scheme would help in strengthening the power distribution system, reduce losses and enhance operational efficiency.

The state government has identified 1,000 acre land for a mega textile parks in Kalaburagi and Vijayapura, and also submitted a proposal to the Union government

The Union government and the German development bank KfW have signed agreements for a €140 million reduced interest loan and €2 million grant for an energy reform programme in Madhya Pradesh. The project will contribute to a more stable, secure and climate and environmentally friendly energy supply.

The Union government and the Asian Development Bank have signed a $251 million loan for climate-resilient, integrated urban flood protection and management in the Chennai-Kosasthalaiyar basin to strengthen the resilience of Chennai city to floods.

The Union government has identified three places in Andhra Prades - Nagarjunakonda in Guntur district, Budhhist remains at Salihundam in Srikakulam district and Veerabhadra Temple near Lepakshi in Anantapur - for a facelift. The sites will be developed under the Adarsh Smarak project.

The Union government has released Rs. 5,968 crore to 15 states for the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission in the financial year 2021-22. This is the first tranche of four to be released in this financial year. Another 17 states/ Union Territories have been asked to send their proposals to the National Jal Jeevan Mission.
