Western Railways (WR) plans to install a 100 KWP solar power system on the rooftop of its Churchgate station building in Mumbai. The plan comprises installation of 2x50 KWP solar power systems by Central Electronics Ltd at an estimated cost of Rs 5.33 lakh. This would help in generating power that can be used for WR headquarters located in the station building.
