The Union Cabinet has approved a production linked incentive scheme for semiconductor and display board production which envisages investment of Rs. 76,000 crore over the next 5-6 years. With this, the government has announced incentives for every part of the semiconductor supply chain.

Unicommerce, India’s largest e-commerce focused supply chain SaaS platform, plans to invest $5 million towards strengthening international operations and further expanding its presence in various countries of Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India along with the Odisha government has initiated a feasibility study for its proposed 12 million tonne per annum integrated steel plant in Kendrapara district of the state, including land acquisition, permissions, and other enabling conditions.

French energy giant Total has signed a deal to supply imported LNG to ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel's steel and power plants in Gujarat. Total will supply up to 0.5 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year until 2026. The LNG will be sourced from Total's global portfolio and offloaded either in Dahej or Hazira LNG terminal.

As many as 14 users across sectors competed on a third party electronic platform for seven-and-half hours to secure natural gas supplies from the eastern offshore KG-D6 block before the oil-to-chemical (O2C) unit of Reliance Industries Ltd bagged most of the supplies.
