The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL) have entered into an agreement to enhance Delhi’s power distribution. ADB will subscribe to non-convertible debentures for Rs 1.5 billion for grid enhancements, and a $2 million grant to partially finance the purchase and integration of a pilot battery energy storage system (BESS).

RP Sanjiv Goenka Group will invest Rs 10,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh. Out of this, Rs 7,500 crore will be invested in renewables, while power distribution and retail sectors will receive Rs 1,000 crore each

Ahmedabad-based AGEL is set to buy a 50 MW solar project in Telangana from Toronto-headquartered SkyPower Global. The project was commissioned in October 2017 and has a long-term power purchase agreement with the Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana.
