The Government of Manipur has stressed the need to upgrade the Imphal Airport and provide facility for night hangers.

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North-Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh has said that Manipur will soon get a 400 KW power project at an estimated cost of Rs 124 crore.
