Jan 20, 2022 Shree Cement to build Rs 1500 crore cement plant A delegation of company officials recently met Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and held discussions for setting up a greenfield cement plant in Guntur district at an estimated cost of Rs. 1,500 crore. This will be Shree Cement’s first plant in Andhra Pradesh and the plan is geared to complete the project in 24 months.
Jan 05, 2022 Foundation laid of Rs 1040 cr development projects for Sangrur The foundation stones have been laid of the Punjab Cement Plant (a subsidiary of Shree Cement) at village Deh Kalan and a medical college at village Ghabdan with a combined cost of Rs. 1050 crore. The cement project would come up at an estimated cost of Rs. 700 crore with a capacity of 5 million tonnes per annum along with captive railway siding.
Oct 05, 2021 Shree Cement Plant coming up in Nawalgarh The company plans to set up an integrated plant with capacity of 3.5 MTPA to manufacture construction material at Nawalgarh Tehsil in Rajasthan. The plant, which will also have clinker capacity of 3.8 MTPA, will entail an investment of Rs. 3,500 crore and be funded through internal accruals and debt.
Oct 05, 2021 Shree Cement Solar Plant at Nawalgarh The company plans to set up a solar power plant with capacity of up to 106 MW to meet the cement plant’s power requirements. The investment for the power plant is estimated at Rs. 500 crore and it will be set up by the quarter ending September 2022.

It has purchased 80 acres for the cement project. The current capacity of Shree Cement is 44 million tonnes and this would take it to 47 million tonnes.
Aug 05, 2021 Clinkerisation unit at Village Khapradih The company is setting-up up to 12,000 ton per day brownfield clinkerisation unit at Village Khapradih in Baloda Bazar district of Chhattisgarh. The project is running on track and is likely to be completed in the first half of FY 2022-23. The cement major is eyeing 80 million tonne capacity by 2030.
Aug 05, 2021 Shree Cement Pune plant to commission in September The western Indian foray of Shree Cement had been delayed due to Covid-19 disruptions, but the company expects to commence commercial production from September with the completion of a clinker grinding unit of 3 million tonne per annum (MTPA) at Patas in Pune district. The unit will get clinker from its group plant in Karnataka.

The project will require a total investment of Rs. 1,000 crore, which will be financed through internal accruals and debt. The capacity is expected to be added by the quarter ending September 2022.
