Bharti Airtel’s data centre subsidiary Nxtra Data plan to invest Rs. 1,750 crore in its data security and cloud infrastructure network. The capital expenditure is being driven by an earlier investment from US-based Carlyle Group, which had paid $235 million for a 25 per cent stake in Nyxtra earlier this year. The rest of the equity is held by Bharti Airtel.

India's leading telecom operator - Airtel has awarded awarded a contract worth Rs Rs 3,350 crore to Finnish telecom gear vendor Nokia for the 4G deployment and expansion. The completion of the contract would ensure 4G technology in three new circles of Bihar, U.P. and Gujarat.
