Nearly 12,000 street lights in the city will be replaced with solar-powered lights this year. New Delhi-based Energy Efficiency Services Ltd is preparing a project report for this. Existing street lights of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation have to be removed for a World Bank-funded power supply project
