The state government is setting up an AYUSH University in Gorakhpur which would be functional from next year. The foundation stone will be laid in the second fortnight of January 2021. All the pre-foundation procedures are being completed without delay so that construction work can start immediately.

The technology company and premium tyre manufacturer plans to expand its truck tyre production capacity at the Modipuram plant in Uttar Pradesh. The expansion will increase the product range for 20” and 22.5” along with the existing other range of truck and bus radial (TBR) tyres.

The construction company has received letter of award from Namami Gange & Rural Drinking Water Department in Uttar Pradesh for construction of Jhakhaun Birdha, Dorra Balabehat Kadesara Kalan & Mau group of villages water supply scheme in Lalitpur district of Uttar Pradesh for Rs. 395.98 crore.

Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi memorial Airport, Chakeri is likely to get its new terminal building in June next year. The terminal, being constructed in an area of 600 sq m, will have a capacity to accommodate 300 passengers.

The Uttar Pradesh government has granted permission for setting up of a nursing college at Moti Lal Nehru (MLN) Medical College-associated SRN Hospital. The state has sanctioned funds of over Rs. 12.30 crore for setting up of the college and construction of its building.

A memorandum of understanding has been signed with the Kalam Institute of Health Technology to prepare a detailed project report.
