The Noida Authority has earmarked Rs 1,000 crore for acquisition of land for area which would be known as 'New Noida'. The authority also made a provision of Rs 500 crore for land acquisition in the existing Noida area, while it set aside Rs 1,906 crore for infrastructure and development work.

The Maharashtra government was backing the industrial growth in Nashik and the district would see investments of Rs 7,771 crore. Reliance Lifesciences would invest Rs 4,200 crore in Dindori, while another pharma major's investment would be about Rs 1,200 crore

A green energy project was launched in Government Higher Secondary School at Kandanchavadi in Chennai by Group Legrand India. The company installed solar panels in the school under its CSR initiative. The solar panels will help the school save its electricity bill.
