Bagged a contract from Paradeep Phosphates (PPL) for the expansion of their phosphoric acid plant in Paradeep. The project aims to expand the capacity of the existing plant from 1,000 tonne to 1,400 tonne of phosphoric acid per day. The expansion will start in January 2020, and completion is targeted in 22 months.

A global supplier in the specialty chemicals segment, is setting up a new Pentaerythritol (Penta) production facility in Gujarat. The construction work has started in October, 2019 and is likely to complete by 2022.

Setting up a new project for the manufacturing of chlorine derivatives with inorganic chemical which is to be set-up at Plot- E/27, GIDC Vilayat, Village: Vilayat, Taluka: Vagra, District: Bharuch-392130 on an open land area of 8400 sq mt out of which approximately 33% of land area will be used for development of greenbelt area. The work has already started and completion is targeted in 4-5 months.

Mansukh Mandaviya, the Minister of State for Shipping (I/C) and Chemicals & Fertilizers, has recently informed the upper house that the Government has raised the target of cargo movement through coastal shipping from 120 MTPA in the year 2018-19 to 230 MTPA by 2025

Plans to set up a 12 Million Tonne Per Annum (MTPA) refinery-cum-petrochemical complex near Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh. The location would be A V Nagaram village, East Godavari district. Land requirement is of 2,560 acre. The completion period is of 60 months.

TFL is a joint venture between state run GAIL (India) Ltd, RCF Ltd, and Coal India Ltd (CIL). TFL is implementing the coal gasification-based fertilizer plant at Talcher in Odisha. The work has started in the month of September, 2019. The lump sum turn key (LSTK) contract is awarded to China based Wuhuan Engineering Co Ltd. The plant will have a production capacity of 1.27 MMTPA of Neem coated urea through gasification of a mixed feedstock comprising of high ash Indian coal and petcoke. The site leveling work is on. The project completion is expected by December, 2022.

The company has recently commissioned a sewage treatment plant (STP) adjacent to the existing one in Trombay. The new plant will have a capacity to treat 22.75 million litres per day (MLD) of municipal sewage to produce about 15 MLD of treated water.

Switzerland based specialty chemical company has recently commissioned a Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) at the Industrial and Consumer Specialties site at Bonthapally in Telangana.
