The process of land acquisition for the Patna Metro depot near Patliputra ISBT on the Patna-Gaya Road would begin soon. PMRC has identified a 76-acre plot at Mauza Pahadi and done its social impact assessment. The depot will consist of two workshop bays and two inspection bays, along with other infrastructure.

Maharashtra’s Mahanirmiti or Mahagenco, formerly known as MSEB, has got clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change for its captive coal mine in Chhattisgarh. The mine, Gare Palma II, will supply coal to Koradi, Chandrapur and Parli power plants. It now needs to acquire land and get forest clearance.
