A piped drinking water project for a population of 60,000 living in 11 gram panchayats of Brahmagiri block and 10 GPs of Puri Sadar would be set up at an estimated cost of Rs. 106 crore. A drinking water treatment plant would be established on five acres of land near Malatipatpur village.

Olectra Greentech and Evey Trans Pvt Ltd have received the letter of award from Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd for 150 electric buses under the FAME-II scheme of the Union Government. The order is on Gross Cost Contract (GCC)/OPEX model for a period of 10-12 years.

The company has been declared as lowest bidder by Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation for the construction of 11.6 km elevated viaduct from Kadarsha Ni Nal to Dream City Dead End. The bid project cost is Rs. 779.73 crore, and Letter of Award is expected soon from GMRC.

BHEL has secured an order for the supply of 32 reactor header assemblies from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. The order is under NPCIL’s fleet mode procurement for indigenously-developed 700 MWe Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors to be set up at four locations in the country.
