Delhi–Jaipur Expressway is a proposed six-lane, controlled-access expressway project covering 225-km, connecting Delhi with Jaipur in India. The expressway will start from Kherki Toll Plaza in Gurgaon and terminate near Chandwaji at Jaipur. It will be constructed as part of Phase 1 of the Bharatmala project. The completion of the project is targeted in 15 months instead of 30 months as indicated earlier. It is likely to cost Rs 16,000 crore. NHAI is yet to finalise the alignment. The complete alignment is considered to be ready if the entire land that needs to be acquired for the project has been identified. The land acquisition process for the new highway is on.
