Centre sanctions Rs 5,252 crore for rail projects in Odiha

Rs 5,252 crore is allocated for railway projects in Odisha during the recent Budget 2018-19 announcement by the Finance minister. The allocation includes Rs 300 crore for Talcher-Bimalagarh new line, Rs 200 crore for Angul-Sukinda new rail line and Rs 200 crore for Haridaspur-Paradeep new rail line. New projects include Jeypore-Nabarangpur covering 38 km with an allocation of Rs 150 crore and Jeypore-Malkangiri covering 127 km new lines got Rs 95 crore. Rs 563 crore is sanctioned to electrify all the routes of the ECoR.
