Lucknow Metro project is coming up in two phases. The first phase comprises 22.8 km-long North-South corridor and an 11 km-long Phase II forming the East-West Corridor. The trial run was flagged in December, 2016. The 8.5-km long metro route from Charbagh station to Transport Nagar opened up for public recently. The said route will have eight elevated stations.
